This Saturday Night, Mary and Chris will be in the lobby of the Kirkland Performance Center with lots of books by the one and only Sherman Alexie. Sherman is doing a talk at the KPC on Saturday night and BookTree is selling his books which he’ll be signing! They might still have tickets left so absolutely check it out! KPC Website

On Tuesday the 28th at 7 p.m. it’s our open Reading Circle book club night. We are reading the best-selling, award winning, controversial novel The Sellout by Paul Beatty. If have read it, or are reading it, please be part of the book discussion. If you want to read it and be part of Reading Circle, we have a few copies in the store, pick one and take it home with you! We had 2 memorable events last weekend- a free workshop and reading with Carolyne Wright and Beth Myhr; and writer-historian Paula Becker talking about iconic Northwest author Betty (The Egg and I) MacDonald. Thanks to those who were able to attend.

Coming soon: A very special afternoon with best-selling author Robert Dugoni on Saturday, March 4th and not one… not two.. but three Pacific Northwest authors with three very different books will be presenting, talking and signing on Sunday March 5th. Dugoni Event Page and 3 Author Event Page .

You’ve probably heard that University Bookstore in Bellevue has closed. They may open in another location on the East side, but nothing definite at this point.
