Happy NEW YEAR!

Thank you for patronizing BookTree and spreading the word about Kirkland’s only new and used independent general bookstore! We appreciate the support, kind words and good wishes from our wonderful, book-loving Kirkland (and Eastside) community.

We are glad so many agree a bookstore where you are able to browse, hold books in your hand, have conversations with fellow book-lovers in a warm cozy environment is important and matters.

We are planning several exciting special author events, starting an in-store reading circle/book club, and hosting book club gatherings. Also in the near future we will have regularly scheduled story-time for children of all ages and much, much more. We are open 10 to 7 on weekdays; 10 to 5 on Saturdays; and Noon to 5 on Sundays. We will be closed on New Years Day (Sunday Jan. 1), but open on Monday the 2nd.

We are happy to order any book in print for you that isn’t on our shelves. We also sell gift certificates! We look forward to helping you to discover or re-discover a superb author or match you up with your next great read.
