July through September business is particularly slow, so it would really help if you are able to do some shopping, pick up a few gift certificates or send us a new customer or two!
We have almost made it to the 2 year mark and I'm fully committed to making it to our 3rd year and beyond. It's been very challenging at times to keep the doors open -- but so far we've paid our bills and kept the lights on. We still need to grow and increase our very loyal supportive customer base and increase our sales. Thank you for regularly reminding your friends and neighbors to shop at BookTree (new books, gently-used books, gift certificates, art on the wall that's for sale etc.) Many of you share our Facebook posts regularly and help us spread out author events. Now let's clone some of you so we can be here for several years to come!
Many of you know Beth and how invaluable she has been to BookTree providing her years of book-buying and selling experience to help BookTree become established. She is stepping back, taking some additional time to spend with her family. She'll certainly visit and perhaps hang out in the store (the book biz is in her blood after all).
BookTree will be Closed August 21, 22, 23, and 24th. Short Vacation.
