Bios:
Burl Battersby (he/him) is a Tacoma Poet who writes under the nom de plume B. Eugene B. He is very active in the South Sound literary community and serves on the board of Write253. Burl has published a memoir, B. Coming Burl (2020), and three books of poetry, Corrected Poems (2020), In A Past Life (2022), and Wild Rose (2023).
Celeste Schueler (she/her) is originally from Mississippi but now resides in the Pacific Northwest. She has her BA in English and MFA in creative writing from Mississippi University for Women and has taught poetry workshops at the Tacoma Public Library. Celeste loves taking her twin daughters on various adventures in and around Tacoma as well as reading all sorts of books and writing poetry. Celeste’s first full length collection, “Peonies of Resurrection,” is forthcoming from ELJ Editions in 2026.
Jessica J. Bloodsaw (she/her) currently resides in Tacoma, WA in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, remembering her roots while crawling out of her proverbial rabbit hole into the light of life.
