Micah Briarmoon is a true Renaissance man: educator, entertainer, musician, world traveler, and author. After many years entertaining crowds around the country, he pursued his teaching degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, going on to teach both locally and internationally. He now resides in Kirkland, Washington, enjoying his free time studying new languages and spending time with his family. His current work as a delivery driver affords him the time to brainstorm new characters and their potential adventures for his future novels.
Paul Hunter's latest book is 'Untaming the Valley' his 3rd Western Novel. Paul's previous western novels were 'Sit a Tall Horse' and 'Mr. Brick & the Boys', in 2020 and 2022, from Davila Art & Books. 'Sit a Tall Horse' won a Will Rogers Medallion Award in 2020. His poems and stories have appeared in numerous journals, as well as nine full-length books and four chapbooks. His first collection of farming poems, 'Breaking Ground' (Silverfish Review Press) was reviewed in The New York Times and received the 2004 Washington State Book Award. A featured poet on The News Hour, Hunter published his autobiography in prose poetry, 'Clownery', in 2017. Always a treat to have Paul Hunter in the house.
Shari Lane's book is 'Two Over Easy All Day Long' (Golden Antelope Press 2024) Winner of a Literary Titan Award. Shari’s stories and poems have appeared in Adelaide Literary Magazine, Evening Street Review, Antithesis, Cape Magazine, and others, and her writing has received honorable mention or shortlisting in The Phare, Fish Publishing, and Glimmer Train. Shari believes a good story can build bridges, and as often as possible she surrounds herself with readers and writers. In addition to being Managing Editor of SHARK REEF Literary Magazine, Shari is on the Lopez Island Library’s Board of Trustees, and hosts WORD!, an open mic for local writers. Shari has been a lawyer, middle school Latin teacher, “toddler wrangler,” and she is an advocate for immigrants, the unsheltered, and the earth. She currently lives, works, and writes on an island in the magical Salish Sea
