Free Workshop 4:24 to 6pm
"Improve Your Rhyming," with poet and publisher David D. Horowitz. In this workshop we will consider rhyme not only as an integral element of poetic craft but as a metaphor for connection and linkage. Skill-enhancing exercises will help you learn to use rhyme to enrich your poetry's music and thematic depth. There will be plenty of time to write and exchange viewpoints.
Reading- Featured Readers David D. Horowitz plus a special tandem reading with Terry and Shirley Busch (Terry and Shirley discovered that several of the poems they were writing independently could be combined to tell about the journey they have been on for over 26 years with their lives and relationship. They will be reading from the book that combined these poems creating a conversation).
