Her poetry has appeared in numerous anthologies, including For the Love of Orcas and Footbridge Above the Falls: Poems by 48 Northwest Poets, as well as many print and on-line journals, and was featured in November 2019 at Abbey of the Arts. Since retiring from full-time teaching, Bethany has traveled to San Francisco, France, and Ireland to share her poems. She lives and writes in Edmonds, Washington, and blogs about all of it at http://www.bethanyareid.com/ .
Kevin J. O’Conner According to his phone’s auto-complete function, Kevin is a poet who is not sure what he does, but doesn’t have any other way to make sure he has a more appropriate experience with his own story.’ This is not far from the truth. In the alternate timeline of his life, he is an obscure artist with an obsessive following who devours every word he writes, every sound he makes, and every image he captures. In the current timeline—or at least a version in which Biff Tannen is not the luckiest man in the world—he is a freelance copy editor who writes poetry and publishes his own books.
Kevin’s latest collection of poetry, 2018’s Wishes sometimes have consequences, is really two books in one: a collection of poems chronicling his personal journey through the year 2018, and a parallel collection of poems written entirely in bookstores. His poems have also appeared in Raven Chronicles, Spindrift, Passionfruit, three editions of The Poetry Marathon Anthology, and the anthology Voices That Matter.
Kevin currently resides in the City of Subdued Excitement with his mom’s cat, her third in a row to be named Cleo.
